How long does it take to receive the gift?

We aim to complete registration of your star within 48 - 72 working hours.

Can I arrange for a personalized anniversary, birthday or memorial gift?

Yes, many of our customers name stars as unique anniversary, birthday, memorial, Bar Mitzvah, or employee recognition gifts. You personalize the gift by naming the star and by including a brief personal message on the Star Certificate.

What are constellations? Can I choose the constellation for my star?

Just as a state or province clearly specifies a particular area of a nation, a constellation clearly specifies a particular area of the night sky. You can choose which constellation in which your star is located from the following list: Andromeda, Aquarius, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn, Cassiopeia, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Orion, Pisces, Sagittarius, Scorpius, Taurus, Ursa Major and Virgo.

How many times are the stars named?

Each star is named once only by the Star Directory Online and taken off the availability list.

Can the name be for more than one person?

Yes. A star is often named for a couple, or even a family or group of people. As long as the name is within the 15 characters limit (letters, numbers and spaces between the words counting as characters) you can name the star anything you wish.

Can I choose my own star?

You can request a constellation when buying a star name. Simply indicate the constellation in the Notes section of the online order form. We will do our best to find a star for you in that constellation.
